F1 Engines advancements - p2

The gas is analogous to that purchased at a local gas station. The single time fuel truly becomes a very important part of an F1 engines' life is during diagnostics. Engineers on a team look in the leftover fuel and oil left in the engine to see what metals appear there. This demonstrates the rate of which the engine is being worn.

The FIA, standing for Federation of Global cars, to try to control illegal rigging of F1 engines, has instituted penalties for people that create costly, wear and tare engines. Since 2005, the FIA has will give a penalty of 10 places in a race if a groups' engine doesn't make it thru 2 grand prix. The modern F1 engine is a superb piece of machinery. With almost five thousand parts composing the entire engine, it is not tough to see how dear one actually is.

The rate and power that race cars may be able to achieve are due partly to the 20,000 revolutions the engine can make each minute. Formula one engines have come a good distance and with their continuing evolutions, so too will develop the game closed track racing.
