Kicking and Boxing- A Deadly Combination

Anything that combines boxing with kicking is bound to get great reviews. The first thing to remember in kickboxing is that accuracy and speed must be achieved first before power can be attained. Most power however does not come from the arm; instead it comes from a twisting of the body and legs, which puts your body weight behind the punch. A bend in the knees and twist of the hips help make the action fluid. Always remember to aim 6 inches beyond the chin rather than just impact for maximum effect, that is rather than pulling back on impact let your fist carry you further.
