Personal Experience of the biggest waves surfing

Following the tour of the biggest waves ever surfed for humans, we come to the Basque coast, where a small rocky beach we can find a more powerful wave of Biscay. This is the beach Meñakoz whose wave has been surfed by surfers more daring, not only Basque but worldwide. It is located in the town of Barrika, twenty minutes from Bilbao.
This wave breaks on the right side of the beach on a rocky ground, which makes it have more power than others. At certain times and depending on the size of the waves and the time of the tide, there are two "bald" (rock outcroppings) with which we must be very careful not to take against them.
The wave can be surfed from Meñakoz feet as eight meters is the average height of these waves. You must be very careful in this wave because, without realizing it, you can end up perfectly embedded in the cliff.
The famous boy boarder Mike Stewart did not miss the opportunity to surf when he was in the area and was amazed at the power thereof and the ease of access. On good days, you can see very large and powerful pipes that are the delight of those watching him out.
